One of the core tools I used and continue to use to transform my life is a daily journal practice.
Journalling allows me to stay in touch with my best future self and my dreams. It keeps me accountable, intentional and in constant motion forward.
It really is one of the most simple yet powerful ways you can start to step into your best future self and create the extraordinary results in your life you dream of.
But there is no right or wrong way to journal, the magic really is in making it a regular habit.
If you are new to journalling, a great way to start out is by writing down how you are feeling right now and any thoughts that come to mind about why you are feeling this way.
Then think about 3 things you are grateful for and finish your journal session on a note of appreciation for what’s going right in your life.
Once you’ve built up your journal habit it will become easier to start to use your journal to visualise and create the future version of you.
I found having a list of journal prompts on hand when I first started journalling really useful to help get my thoughts flowing.
These days I still use journal prompts to help elevate my thoughts and results from my journal sessions.
Here are some of the journal prompts I like to use:
- What am I going to do today to make myself feel proud?
- What are the things I do that make me feel the best?
- Where am I not giving myself permission?
- What’s holding me back?
- What shift am I ready to make?
Do you journal as part of your daily morning or evening routine?
If my words have helped you, a small contribution here will allow them to continue reaching the women who need them most.
