Are you standing in your own way?

The only person who can hold us back from becoming the woman we aspire to be and creating the life of our dreams is ourselves.

When we hold ourselves back what we are really doing is simply standing in our own way.

Standing in our own way shows up in our lives in so many different ways.

It might be the small daily habits that don’t really serve us but which we don’t use our power to change.

It might be the decisions we cannot bring ourselves to make or the decisions we make without making them intentionally.

It might show up as procrastination or constant feelings of anxiety, overwhelm and exhaustion.

It might also show up as self-judgment, self-doubt, and a lack of trust in ourselves.

There are literally so many ways I’ve stood in my own way over the years and I’ve seen other women standing in theirs too.

But just like you would when someone else is standing in your way, you need to ask yourself to step out of the way.

You need to clear the path so you can step forward in the direction that will lead you to your best future self.

And you are the only one who has the power to get out of your own way.

So ask yourself, how you are standing in your own way today?
