There was a time when I tried to do it all on my own – jotting things down on post-it notes, trying to remember everything in my head, feeling scattered and exhausted before the day had even begun. But life, especially in midlife, is too precious to spend constantly overwhelmed. We’re not here just to survive the days, we’re here to savour them.
That’s when I realised: technology doesn’t have to be the enemy. In fact, the right apps can become little lifelines – quietly supporting your daily rhythm, simplifying your systems, and creating space for what really matters. Whether it’s managing your energy, nurturing your creativity, connecting with loved ones, or carving out time for joy, the right digital tools can be an extension of your self-care.
So here it is, Love – my curated list of favourite apps that support the woman I am now and the woman I’m becoming.

The Life Organisers & Creators
Notion
This is where my entire life lives – my plans, my dreams, my ideas, my content. It’s my digital command centre. Whether I’m designing my updating my Life Book, next Reset programme, outlining a blog post, or mapping out my week, Notion keeps me grounded and focused.
Google Calendar
If it’s not in here, it’s not happening. I schedule everything – from morning rituals, meal planning, affirmations, tasks, bill reminders, to coaching calls, to creative sprints. It helps me design a life that feels balanced and intentional. Bonus: it gently nudges me to actually rest, too. READ MORE: How to make the most of Google Calendar
Headway
This one’s for the readers who feel like they don’t have time to read. Headway gives you bite-sized book summaries packed with insights – perfect for sipping your morning coffee while expanding your mind.
For Capturing, Sharing & Expressing
Lightroom
A must for someone who sees life as art. Lightroom allows me to edit photos with ease and beauty, whether I’m sharing a peaceful moment, a client win, or a slice of everyday magic.
This app isn’t just about pretty pictures. It’s where I connect, express, and tell my story. It’s become a space where midlife feels seen, celebrated, and sacred.
My lifeline to my loved ones, team, and community. Whether it’s a voice note to Khushi, sending an update on The Midlife Circle WhatsApp group, or a The Sattva Collective CIC planning session, WhatsApp makes connection easy and heartfelt.
For Growth, Healing & Nourishment
Audible
Midlife is the perfect time to keep learning, growing, and expanding. Audible lets me soak in wisdom while walking Marlow, tidying the flat, or winding down for the day.
Spotify
From calming meditation music to motivating playlists, this app supports my moods and rituals. It’s sound therapy on demand. I also listen to my own podcast episodes here, because hearing your own voice speak truth back to you is healing.
Meditation Studio
This app is my go-to for quick grounding and spacious breath. With a library of meditations for every mood and moment, it helps me reset and realign, even on the busiest days.
YouTube
YouTube is like a cosy corner of inspiration and learning for me. Whether I’m diving into soulful interviews, catching up on wellness wisdom, exploring new yoga flows, or just unwinding with calming music, there’s something so beautifully personal about choosing exactly what I need in that moment. I’ve curated my own playlists of nourishment, and it’s become a space where midlife feels expansive, not limiting.
For Movement, Stillness & Ritual
Asana Rebel
Perfect for fitting in short yoga sessions or strength training during a full day. The routines are beautifully designed for the midlife woman who wants to feel strong, supple and energised without burning out.
Tide
Part focus timer, part soundscape, part wellbeing coach. Tide helps me stay present, centred and productive using nature-inspired sounds and Pomodoro-style timers. A gentle game changer.
For Journaling, Writing & Reflection
Journey – Diary, Journal
This app is like a trusted friend. I use it for daily journaling, gratitude notes, and reflections – especially when I’m moving through transitions or deepening into my inner world.
Kindle
A portable library of wisdom and wonder. I always have a few titles on the go – from spirituality and wellness to fiction that soothes the soul.
When I come across an inspiring article or resource I want to revisit later, Pocket is where I save it. It’s like a little vault of inspiration I can dip into whenever I need a creative nudge.
For Simplicity, Money & Flow
JamDoughnut
A cashback app that rewards you for your regular purchases. Every little win adds up -and in this season of life, we deserve to be rewarded for looking after our homes, families, and selves.
Mobile Banking
I use mine to stay on top of my finances, make transfers, check balances and track my spending. It helps me feel empowered, not overwhelmed.
Google Drive
I keep all my important documents, content drafts, workshop plans, and CIC materials here, backed up, beautifully organised, and always within reach.
A Quick Note on Choosing the Right Apps:
Before downloading everything under the sun, pause. Ask yourself:
- ➡ What do I want to simplify?
- ➡ What do I want to create space for?
- ➡ What kind of support does this version of me need?
And don’t forget – sometimes investing in the paid version of an app is worth it if it helps you live more intentionally, calmly, and creatively. Your peace is priceless.
Final Thought
We talk a lot about “digital detoxes” (and they definitely have their place), but what if we shifted the conversation? What if we embraced a “digital curation” – choosing only the tools that truly support us, that help us stay aligned, grounded, and joyfully productive?
We deserve to design lives that feel beautiful from the inside out – one mindful app at a time.
Would you love to learn how to simplify your digital world, reclaim your time and energy, and start living with more flow?
