Every so often we need to say “Yes” to some quiet, “think” time. It can be as simple as a walk in the woods, a long soak in the bathtub, or a ride in the country. No matter how stressed or busy or overwhelmed we feel, we all need to create a physical and emotional quiet and calm space to reflect and recharge. The harder it is to carve out a time and place, the more important it is to do. And if it seems impossible, then it’s absolutely essential. You don’t need to pretend it’s a priority; it actually is one.
Every once in a while, it’s important to do an overall inventory. sometime today, find a quiet space to check in with yourself; write down your short and long-term goals, and articulate your passion and dreams. You’ll then know what kind of life you’d like (and deserve). And that’s not only a great start, it’s the beginning of the life you were meant to have.
If my words have helped you, a small contribution here will allow them to continue reaching the women who need them most. Also, don't forget to join me on Substack, where I share my Love Notes, a gentle pause in your week to reflect, realign, and reconnect in midlife. It’s not just another newsletter; it’s an intimate circle where I offer fresh intentions, soulful prompts, and simple but powerful shifts to inspire purposeful, creative living. Together, we’ll uncover the small but meaningful changes that help you design a life that feels beautifully your own.
