Lately, I’ve found myself in an in-between space. Not quite who I used to be, but not fully who I’m becoming either.
And honestly? It’s a strange place to be.
Some days I feel powerful, clear, grounded, and proud of how far I’ve come. Other days, I feel untethered – questioning everything, wondering if I’ve taken a wrong turn, or if I’m simply standing still.
But here’s what I’m learning: this awkward, uncertain, uncomfortable middle part isn’t failure. It’s not regression. It’s not brokenness.
It’s becoming.
We don’t talk about the “stretch” season often enough – that liminal space where the old you no longer fits, and the new you hasn’t quite landed yet. But I want to normalise it here. Because this is where the real work happens.
And lately, that real work has meant looking at every corner of my life and asking, “Is this still serving the woman I’m becoming?”

Investing in Myself – Without Apology
I used to feel guilty about spending time, energy, or money on myself. Like my needs had to wait until everything else was handled – the business, the family, the inbox, the to-do list. But here’s the thing: I am the foundation. If I don’t water myself, I dry out.
So now, I make space to invest in my growth – whether that’s time with a coach, quality rest, daily journaling, or simply learning how to receive. It’s not indulgent. It’s essential.
Because the woman I’m becoming? She’s not built from burnout and self-neglect. She’s built from intention, nourishment, and deep self-trust.

Protecting My Peace, Energy & Space
Boundaries have become sacred.
Not walls – just clear invitations for how I want to be treated, and how I choose to treat myself.
I’ve learned to say “no” without guilt. To unplug without explanation. To take the long way home if I need quiet. To leave the room if the energy doesn’t feel right.
Protecting my peace is not selfish – it’s the kindest thing I can do for everyone around me. Because when I honour my limits, I show up fuller, softer, and more whole.

Making Myself a Priority in My Own Life
It might sound obvious, but making myself a priority in my own life has been revolutionary. No longer waiting for someone else to give me permission. No longer abandoning myself in the name of productivity or approval.
I plan my day around my needs now.
What do I need to feel good? What would feel supportive? Where am I betraying myself for the sake of keeping the peace?
I used to think self-prioritisation was vanity. Now I know it’s vitality.

Simplifying to Make Space for Who I’m Becoming
I’ve started decluttering everything – not just my home, but my mind, my calendar, my relationships, and even my ambitions. Because simplicity doesn’t mean small. It means clear.
And clarity is power.
I’m no longer interested in chasing five different versions of success that aren’t even mine. I’m creating space. Breathing room. Margin. Because I need space to become. And I don’t want to crowd out the new with remnants of the old.

If You’re in the Stretch Too…
If you’ve been feeling stuck, unsure, or like you’re floating between versions of yourself, I want you to know this: you are not lost.
You are in the stretch. The sacred, messy middle.
Let this be your reminder that you don’t have to have it all figured out.
You don’t have to rush.
You don’t need proof of progress to trust that something beautiful is unfolding.
Be gentle with yourself, love. You’re doing the brave, quiet work of becoming.
