Never begin the day unless it’s finished on paper

Jim Rohn once said, never begin the day until it’s finished on paper. Turns out its great advice.

You see, we can show up as the best version of ourselves when we plan in advance how we want our day to be, what we want to accomplish, and how we want to think, feel and act.

When we take the time to plan ahead, we can set our intention to act in alignment with the woman we aspire to be instead of simply reacting to our day as it comes.

The easiest way I’ve found to do this is by making a daily habit of journalling first thing in the morning. This is an ideal time to think about your plans for the day ahead and reflect on the thoughts and feelings those plans create.

If your thoughts and feelings don’t reflect those of the extraordinary woman you want to be, you can decide to change them to the thoughts and feelings that will empower you to take action for your best future self.

A woman who takes control of how she thinks, feels and acts for the day, ahead of the day, is a woman who is unstoppable in chasing her dreams.

Successful women never begin the day until it’s finished on paper.
