Laying the foundation for 2021

It’s the beginning of the new year, and that makes it the perfect time to start appreciating the lives that we lead, the blessings that come to us every day and most importantly start laying the foundation for this new year.

One of the most powerful things I’ve learnt throughout my personal development journey is tuning into my true desires. Goals are great to keep you on track but once you get to understand why you want to achieve them you’ll be able to tune into the feeling of it much better.

Apart from my desire to own my little Cottage surrounded by nature and water and become financially stable (don’t we all!), I want to and am, living a Well-Designed Life; consciously, intentionally and wholeheartedly ♡ and pursuing my passions.

If you live a life with passion, by doing what you are passionate about, you will find that the details will take care of themselves. You will eventually become a master of your passion, and you will be paid handsomely for your expertise. You will be happy and attract happiness from others.

Start by asking yourself the following questions:

  • What are the things I’m most passionate about?
  • What are my greatest accomplishments in life so far?
  • If my life had absolutely no limits, what would I choose to have and what would I choose to do?
  • What are my goals in life?
  • What do I not like to do? How hard am I willing to work to get what I want?

So, my challenge for you is to tune into your true desires and set your intentions based on ‘How you want to FEEL’.

Celebrating and appreciating our lives can be challenging, as we’ve always learned to work work work, and prepare ourselves for the next step in our growth in careers and life. But this year I want you to focus on slowing down.

I am passionate about Curating and Living a Well-Lived Life; Consciously, Intentionally and Wholeheartedly, to celebrate life, to make sure I make myself a priority in my own life by reminding myself that I need to take some time out daily to revitalise myself if to experience life to its fullest. I want the same for you!

Start by taking a few mental health days, just take the time to sit back and relax, and reassess the past year and what you’re going to be doing moving forward with this year. Enjoy your favourite leisure activity, and do whatever it is that helps you recharge when things are just getting too crazy.
