Are you taking inspired action or are you self-sabotaging your dreams without even realising?
Often we allow our minds to run on auto-pilot & it run our lives in a way that may or may not lead us towards our dreams.
But the thoughts our minds think on auto-pilot are responsible for creating our feelings & our feelings are inspiring the actions we do or don’t take in every area of our lives.
Your thoughts & feelings are creating your entire reality.
What are the chances of creating the reality you want by allowing your mind to run on auto-pilot without any input from you & without paying any attention to where it is headed?
Imagine flying a plane on auto-pilot without first choosing the destination, plotting the course & setting the perimeters that will support the plane to make a successful journey.
That would be crazy, right?
Yet I see so many of us not choosing our destination, not plotting our course & not setting the parameters that will support us in making a successful journey towards our dreams.
Supporting your dreams means taking control of your mind so it leads you in the direction you actually want to go.
Checking in regularly with how you’re feeling & what thoughts are generating those feelings will give you great insight into where your mind is leading you.
If that’s not towards your dreams it’s time to take control of those thoughts & feelings!
Sometimes what we find when we start checking in are a whole bunch of negative self-beliefs & a whole lot of negative self-talk going on.
But it’s not likely you’ll reach your chosen destination allowing your mind to run on auto-pilot with perimeters like negative self-beliefs & negative self-talk.
So I encourage you to ask yourself, how am I supporting my dreams in this moment?
Am I setting the perimeters for how my mind thinks & feels with intention & in alignment with the woman I aspire to become?
Am I choosing the thoughts & feelings that best support my journey to the extraordinary life I dream of creating?
You have the power to choose how you think & feel in every moment. Why not choose the thoughts & feelings that support your dreams?
3 power tips to help you avoid self-sabotaging your dreams
Tip No. 1
Get clear on what you really want.
Confusion is your mind’s way of keeping you where you are.
Stop telling yourself you just don’t know.
You actually really do know, permit yourself to allow yourself to want it!
Tip No. 2
Decide and go all in.
Indecision is a result of fear and will keep you stuck.
Acknowledge why you’re afraid, embrace the fear and do it anyway.
And when I say do it anyway, I mean really go ahead and do it. Back yourself and go all in on your dreams.
We only have this one life!
Tip No. 3
Practice discipline.
Dreams without discipline are just wishes.
Become disciplined at taking action towards your dreams and goals, however big or small the steps may be.
In every moment you can choose to act in a way that will bring you closer to being the woman you want to be and having the results in your life you desire.
But it takes discipline to make that choice in every moment!
I used to be a woman who self-sabotaged her own success but my life changed the day I decided to become a woman who no longer tolerates the self-sabotaging of her dreams.
When I decided to become a woman who knows what she wants and wants it unapologetically.
When I decided to step into the shoes of the future version of me who is decisive, who goes all in on her decisions and who has her own back, always.
When I decided to become a woman who is disciplined and who knows she can do hard things.
