What do you need to give yourself permission for?

  1. Doing the next best thing instead of trying to do it all
  2. Not always knowing what you need but being willing to explore
  3. Letting self-love & self-compassion practices, not identities
  4. Feeling your feelings AND knowing when it might be too much
  5. Asking for help and not feeling weak for needing it
  6. Allowing yourself to be fully, imperfectly human (we all are)
  7. Doing 30 seconds of meditation instead of 30 minutes
  8. Letting the small, tiny steps and actions be enough
  9. Not having it all figured out and letting that be what it is
  10. Taking a break from “self-help” and just being where you are

Journal Prompts:

  • What might the “next best thing” be for me today?
  • How can I get curious about what I’m needing?
  • What is one way to practice self-compassion today?
  • What bodily cues tell me my feelings are too much, and what tools can I use in those moments?
  • How do I feel comfortable asking for help from?
  • How can I more deeply embrace imperfection?
  • How can I reevaluate my expectations of myself?
  • What tiny step and I overlooking and can I honour it?
  • What have I already figured out that I didn’t think I would?
  • How can I practice presence today?
