6 Steps to Plan a Staycation

Planning a staycation can be a great way to take a break without leaving home. Here are some steps to follow to plan a successful staycation this summer:

  1. Determine your budget: Decide how much money you want to spend on your staycation. This will help you decide what activities you can do and what kind of accommodations you can afford. CHECK OUT: Benefits of Budgeting & 10 Practical Budgeting Tips
  2. Decide on your location: Consider what kind of activities you want to do during your staycation and what kind of environment you want to be in. Do you want to explore your own city or town, or would you prefer to stay closer to home? This will help you choose your location.
  3. Choose your accommodations: Decide where you want to stay during your staycation. You may want to book a hotel, rent an Airbnb, or stay with friends or family.
  4. Plan your activities: Make a list of the activities you want to do during your staycation. This could include exploring local museums and attractions, trying out new restaurants, or simply spending time relaxing at home. CHECK OUT: This year I’m trying something different
