How often have you said Yes, when you really wanted to say No?

How many times have you de-prioritised your own self-care?

How often have you promised yourself a good night’s sleep and then scrolled on your phone for hours instead?

Learn to say no!

Probably the hardest on the list, saying no requires respecting yourself and your commitments. It can be hard to do because so often we are raised to be accommodating and helpful, but when we take on too much by always saying yes we eventually end up being of no help to anyone. The next time you want to say no try saying:

  • “I’m flattered by the offer, but at the moment I can’t commit to that”
  • “Now is not a good time for me”
  • “Unfortunately I can’t pursue that avenue right now”

Level up your sleep!

Ladies, ladies please stop taking your phone to bed! I know it’s easy to do, but instead of scrolling on TikTok or Insta take a book to bed instead, if you do have to listen to something try an audiobook. For your alarm get one that is separate from your phone so you don’t need to bring it into the room with you. Oh…and of course try and aim for the 7-8 hours recommended.

Level up your self-care routine.

This one is fun and will leave you feeling great! Do you want to have a bath on the weekends and do nothing… do it! Do you love your skincare routine, make it your evening ritual? Exercise is another great way to level up your self-care and get those endorphins going, try walking, swimming, running or yoga… whatever your body can do is fine.
