Hello, my loves. I’ve missed this space, and I’ve missed you. It’s been a few weeks since I recorded an episode, and I wanted to come on here — not with a full teaching or deep dive — but with my truth. Because if there’s one thing I’ve promised you through this podcast, it’s honesty. And right now, that honesty sounds a little quieter. A little more reflective. A little more tender.
The last few weeks have been full. Not just with tasks but with emotion, life, grief, and growth. And I realised something important: I couldn’t record from a place that wasn’t true to where I was.
I know many of you listening are also givers. Women who hold space for everyone else. Women who show up even when they’re tired. Who carry their families, their dreams, their grief — sometimes all at once. And sometimes, even when our minds say ‘keep going,’ our bodies and our hearts say, ‘just pause.’
I felt guilty at first. Guilt that I hadn’t shown up here. Guilt that I hadn’t delivered a podcast episode. Guilt that I was being… lazy. But what I’ve come to remember is this: Rest is not laziness. Slowness is not failure. And pauses are sacred.
The version of me I’m becoming — my Future Self — she doesn’t push through the exhaustion just to keep up appearances. She listens. She softens. She leads from presence, not pressure. So I chose to rest. To grieve. To nourish myself. And in doing so, I realised… maybe this is what I needed to share with you all along.
