Some days, I don’t feel like I’ve done much.
The laundry’s half-finished.
The to-do list is untouched.
And I wonder – was today wasted?
But midlife has taught me to stop measuring my worth in output.
Some days are for doing.
Others are for being.
And both matter.
Just getting through the day, especially the heavy ones, is enough.
Rest is not laziness.
Stillness is not failure.
It’s necessary.
Not every day will be productive.
Some are just for breathing, resetting, and gently gathering yourself for what’s next.
You’re not behind.
You’re honouring your humanity.
And that, Love, is everything.
