Live a Well-Designed Life Personality, Character & Self-Discovery

It’s OK to just be

You don’t always have to be growing/hustling/evolving into the next best version of yourself.

Sometimes it’s ok to just be.

I want you to have days without a schedule to keep, hours left open for unplanned adventures. Moments of true stillness.

I want you to have a life outside your busy schedule – a life with time to live.

Instead of hustling to build a life that looks good, what if you slowed down and cultivated a life that feels good?

Why not take time to listen and give yourself space. Space for your mind to breathe, space for new ideas and inspiration to come through and so forth. If you want to expand, you need to make space for it, in your life and in your mind. Stop being so busy or distracted. Carefully choose where you give your energy and attention.

When was the last time you checked in with yourself, your values and your vision?

Over the last couple of years, on this beautiful journey, we call life, I’ve grown and evolved in ways I never thought I would:

  • From living with my family to it just being Khushi and me
  • From big houses to small apartments (and one day a tiny house when Khushi gets older and moves out)
  • From driving a Mercedes to walking, public transport and riding a bike
  • From a rather large and excessive collection of clothes, make-up and jewellery to capsule wardrobe, make-up and jewellery collection and so forth … the list is endless.

This simplified approach to life and redefining what luxury means to me based on my core values have not only been healthier but also life-changing.

So today… Spend time reconnecting with yourself; become more fully of who you truly are, tune in to your true passions and desires, rediscover the beauty of life.

Experience pleasure in everything you do – ordinary and extraordinary; from taking a hot fragrant bath, sipping a cup of tea, listening to music, snuggling up on the sofa with a good book, nurturing your home, travelling to Paris, going for a long walk, cooking a meal… and so on.

Just go with the flow. Slow down, rest your mind, body and soul, journal, set intentions for the next 3-6 months, give your home some TLC, get creative and create a vision board for the next 3-6 months, go for a walk, cook and eat nourishing meals and just be.

I promise that slowing down won’t cause you to lose your ambition and drive.

just be
