Investing in Yourself

If you had an hour today to invest in YOU how would you use it? This comes down to your relationship with time and committing to make yourself a priority too.

Many people feel like there isn’t enough time in our schedule to care for ourselves. Whether it is exercise, time for breathing or relaxing, it can be any of those things. Just like an appointment, you have scheduled you would find a way to honour that commitment. Why would you treat the time for things that nourish you any different?⠀

Investing in Yourself

A key to making this happen is being intentional and non-negotiable, but also flexible. For example, you’d like to walk 30 minutes today. Look for opportunities to make it happen. Break it down to three 10-minute walks, walk before work, during lunch, or after work. ⠀

You’re co-creating your reality through the thoughts, words, and behaviours you choose minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day. Your life is an ongoing act of creation and you’re 100 per cent in charge.

When you make a clear, committed decision about something you want, it’s analogous to picking up the phone and placing a to-go order with the cosmos. That’s why, as much as possible, you must strive to be decisive, clear, and specific.

I believe we spend our whole life understanding who we are – always evolving – keep opening doors to learn, grow and expand?

“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom” – Aristotle

It’s the small habits. How you spend your mornings. How you talk about yourself. What you read and what you watch. Who you share your energy with. Who has access to you? That will change your life?

Make time for YOU in your life!⠀
